Pakistan is out of ICC T20 World Cup 2016 as Australia beat Pakistan in a crucial match. Now Pakistan will go back home and this is race between India and Australia, while New Zealand is already in the Semi Final of ICC T20 World Cup 2016.
The former T20 champion Pakistan is now passing through a very critical situation in current season of World Cup 2016 as the counter side lost their 2 of 3 matches and their chances to eliminate for their tournament are increasing day by day.

2nd Match Performance:
In 2nd match Pakistan faced their traditional rival India on 19th March 2016 at Kolkata and the match was minimized to 18 over due to rain. Pakistan while bat 1st scored 118 runs and India achieved the required target in 16th over while lost their 4 wickets.
3rd Match Performance:
Pakistan in their 3rd match faced New Zealand on 23rd March 2016 at Mohali. After toss Kiwi’s elected to bat 1st and sue to poor display of bowling New Zealand scored 180 runs. Pakistan in reply bowled out on 158 runs and New Zealand won their match by 22 runs.
Pakistan cricket team is placed in group 2 along with Australia, India, New Zealand and Bangladesh. Pakistan settled on 3rd position in their group with 2 points on the score board. In this group New Zealand is placed on top position while India grabbed 2nd position in the same group.
Net Run Rate:
In case Pakistan defeat Australia then their chances to qualify for the semi finals will increase and net run rate will decide whether Pakistan qualifies or not. In current scenario Pakistan holds +0.254 net run rate in their group.
Chances to Qualify for Semi Finals:
Pakistan although did not able to perform well in his recent matches but still hopes for the counter side to survive in this event and qualify for the semi finals of World Cup 2016.
