West Indies skipper after toss elected to bat 1st while keenly view the pitches conditions and Indian openers Rohit Sharma and AM Rahane came out to open up innings for their team in this crucial match of World Cup 2016.

R Sharma and AM Rahane no doubt provided a very strong opening partnership to their team as both batsmen played aggressively and took their team toal to 62 runs in 7th over of the match. West Indies got their 1st break though in 7th over as RG Sharma on 43 runs was targeted by Badree.

India at the total of 128 runs lost their 2nd wicket and this time AM Rahane was caught by Bravo and Russell took his crucial wicket. Rahane scored 40 runs in this match. The Indian skipper MS Dhoni came out in depth over of the innings.

V Kohli and MS Dhoni played well in last over but all hats off for V Kohli who in depth over again recused his team and total his team to 192 runs in 20th over of the match. Kohli played brilliant knock of 84 runs on just 45 deliveries.

India at the end of 20th over scored 192 runs for their opposition and the team seem really happy with the performance of their team. West Indies in reply started off badly as the man in form Chris Gayle bowled on just 5 runs.

West Indies at the total of 19 runs lost their 2nd wicket and it seem India take full control on the match but at this stage Simmons and J Charles played well and took their team total 116 runs in 13th over of their innings.

J Charles after scored 52 runs bowled out but at this stage L Simmons and A Russell took command of their team and achieved the required target in 20th over of the match. Simmons on 83 and AD Russell on 43 runs remained not out.

West Indies after thrilling competition achieved the target while lost their 3 wickets and West Indies qualified for the finals of World Cup for the 2nd time but on Sunday West Indies will meet England who have already qualified for the finals.
